The Paradox

We were promised that "more" meant freedom. More apps to choose from, more layers of abstraction to "simplify" development, more options to customize every pixel.

But more has become a prison.

Today, to perform a simple task, our data travels through dozens of unoptimized layers. We use frameworks that wrap other frameworks, running on virtual machines, inside containers, managed by orchestrators. Every layer adds a tax—a tax on performance, a tax on battery life, and a tax on human understanding.

This is the bloat-industrial complex. We've traded efficiency for "convenience," only to find that the convenience is increasingly inconvenient. When you have a thousand ways to do the same thing, you spend more time choosing and less time creating.
